Overview

Nestled along the picturesque Lungolago Francesco Lenotti in Bardolino, Yacht Bar Pizzeria Gelateria offers a charming blend of bar, pizzeria, and gelateria experiences with stunning lakeside views. This spot caters to both casual visitors seeking a morning coffee and those looking to unwind with a well-crafted cocktail as the sun sets over Lake Garda.

The ambience here leans heavily into its waterfront charm, with most seating arranged outdoors to maximize the breathtaking panorama. It's an ideal venue for tourists and locals alike who appreciate scenic dining paired with quality food and drink. The menu is notably versatile, boasting traditional Italian staples like pizzas, pasta, and fresh seafood, alongside lighter options such as bruschetta and salads. Noteworthy highlights include their expertly made Aperol Spritz, the creamy gelato selections, and standout desserts like the strawberry cheesecake and the refreshing Eisbecher mit Obst, a fruit-topped ice cream treat perfect for warmer days.

Service at Yacht Bar strikes a balance between efficiency and friendliness. Guests frequently praise staff members like Alessandro for attentive care and personalized touches, though some have noted moments of detached service. The atmosphere is lively, especially as the day progresses—ferries arriving often boost the crowd, creating a vibrant social setting. Occasional nuisances like nearby smoking or external street performers can disrupt the otherwise relaxed vibe, but these do little to detract from the overall enjoyment.

Yacht Bar Pizzeria Gelateria sets itself apart by integrating a casual yet refined menu with a prime location on the Bardolino lakeshore. Whether savoring a cappuccino while watching morning boats or indulging in a cocktail while catching the Tour de France on the bar’s television, patrons can expect a versatile and picturesque experience. Its appeal lies in harmonizing quality Italian flavors with the serene backdrop of the harbor, making it a must-visit for anyone exploring the Veneto region’s culinary and scenic offerings.

Spontaneously stopped here for a morning coffee overlooking the lake - such a nice setting! I had 2 cappuccinos, then decided to order a strawberry waffle too which was alright but a bit burnt in the middle. Definitely a good spot for cocktails or coffee, loads of cocktails options! My bill was 13 euro. It was quiet when I got there around 8.30am but quickly filled up when ferries arrived

Great location and views. Food arrived quickly and was well presented and tasty. Most seating is outdoors due to fantastic views and good weather, sadly there is not a designated smoking area which can result in people smoking at the table next to you whilst you are eating.

Very nice ambience at the harbour. Large variety of food. We tried the burger, pizza, pasta and seafood. All were great and reasonably priced. The service was excellent! Greetings to Ale (Alessandro) Perfect service and thanks again for the Limoncello!

Good spot to get a drink or an ice cream. I had the iced caramel macchiato, and it was good. Their strawberry cheesecake is lovely. The staff isn't very friendly and they don't generally seem very interested in their customers, but they do their job well so it's okay. They had the Tour the France on television while we were enjoying our drinks, so it was nice that we were able to watch them finish.

After discovering little choice in most other restaurants, other restaurants than pizza, pasta , lamb cutlets and steaks, it was joy to find, during a quick coffee, that the Yacht Bar offered something a little different. So we returned for a superb Caesar salad and shrimp salad. Reasonable price, great service. Highly recommended. The only drawback is the nightly appearance of the rickshaw man miming to dreadful music at full volume right outside.
